darwin-x86	OS X	dynamically linked on apple's horribly broken os, release 10.5
linux-x86	Linux	statically linked against uclibc on linux x86,
			should work on not-too old 2.6 kernels, maybe earlier.
linux-amd64	Linux	same as linux-x86, it should work with any 64 bit amd64 linux kernel
windowx-x86	Windows	dynamically linked against msvcrt
